I was invited to join some other photographers to go to the Atlanta Zoo. It had been many, many years since I had been there. While I was looking forward to getting out to take pictures, I wasn’t really sure about the zoo. My memories of the zoo were not at all good. But, I had a good time and was glad that there were so many improvements there.

    the only flowers in iowa so far are all in the hothouse…..but not for long! the daffodils and tulips are pushing their greens upward and I saw a red-winged blackbird yesterday, staking his claim to a highway sign and singing his heart out.
