  • What a mess!

    Which of these brushes would you rather use for cutting in around the ceiling and door frames? If you’re like me, the 1 1/2″ is even a bit too large. According to Tommy, the 3″ should be just fine. Hmmm…….

  • She Loves You

    What exciting news we got last night–Sara and Hall are engaged! Yippee!!

  • WOW – What a week!

    It all started last Saturday. Amanda and Evan flew in from Wyoming to surprise Tommy at his birthday party. We then had a BBQ lunch for some of our closest friends.
    Amanda had a list of the restaurants she wanted to visit while she was here. The good thing was I didn’t have to cook much. :) We went to:
    * Chick-Fil-A
    * Schroeders (in Rome)
    * El Porton
    * Provino’s
    * Varsity

    We were also lucky enough to have Sara and Hall come to visit on Sunday. I really feel like I could go a week without eating! It was a fun week with Amanda and Evan and Sara and Hall (while they were here).

  • Snow in Georgia!

    Good thing for us that the weather has been warm lately and the ground is warm, otherwise we may have had a deep accumulation of snow. It has snowed a lot today with big, fat snowflakes. It’s been really pretty. Of course it’s really easy to comment on the beauty of snow when you are inside in front of a roaring fire!

  • Happy Anniversary to Us!

    Can it really be that we’ve been married for 31 years? Don’t we look like babies?

  • Can Seamus or Molly do this?

    Bubba loves to run around the yard carrying sticks!

  • Glad All Over

    I submitted one of my photos for our photography club competition. The subject for this month’s competition was Trees. Last night I took 3rd place with this shot–Yippee!But, as I always say, it’s awfully hard to take a bad picture in Wyoming! (I’m not sure that the colors are “true” here.

  • Spring is in the Air

    Thanks to the warmer temperatures, we have had a few daffodils open up. These are our first signs that Spring is on its way.

  • I’ll Be On My Way

    Here’s Tommy working on collecting, chopping and splitting firewood. This, he says, should be enough for us next year.

  • Just Playing!

    We’re back in BG for several days. While Tommy is out cutting firewood, I’m enjoying the fire inside and playing with my camera. It’s too cold (right now 35) to go outside.
