The work (other than some painting) has begun. Before we start to put down the new ceramic tile, we have to replace the sliding glass door. You know that things can’t go smoothly, don’t you? What should have been an easy job (easy for me to say) of swapping out the old for the new, just didn’t go so smoothly. Marc and Tommy found termite damage on the outside of the house just under where the door goes. So that had to be replaced.
See the ugly yellow floor? I can’t wait till it goes away. And look how nasty the floor is where the refrigerator normally stands. Yuck!

I’ll miss the sunny yellow walls that we had in the laundry room, but I’m really liking this color. I still have lots of painting to do, but can’t get going on it again until the sliding glass door is installed.
