There was an article in the NY Times (thanks for finding this Tommy) about photographers world wide contributing photos taken at a particular Moment in Time. For those of us in EST we were to take a picture at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 2. Tommy and I left the house about 9:30 and headed up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was a very cloudy day and I wanted to see if I could get a good picture of either Looking Glass Rock or Devil’s Courthouse in the clouds. Nope! But we always enjoy riding around these mountains so it wasn’t a problem. On the way back to the house we decided to take the road into Pinhook Valley (I’m not really sure that’s the name, but that’s what I call it). It is such a pretty area. When we saw this barn?? I hopped out of the truck and took some pictures. Everything in this little valley looked so clean and fresh from all the rain we’d gotten the night before.
