As in many places in the US, it has really been hot and dry here. Even though the flowers out front have been watered, the zinnias are the only ones right now that still look good.
The sunflowers out back in the garden are doing fairly well, but none of them are as big around as I was hoping for. Still, they make me smile.
I shouldn’t be wishing my life away, but I really can’t wait until the Fall. The older I get the less I like the heat.
