Tommy and I are early risers, so we got up and out on Sunday morning. We wanted to walk around some without the throngs of people there for the basketball finals. We also hoped we’d be able to get a table at the Cafe du Monde without waiting.
We were rewarded! Jackson Square was completely vacant and the sky was perfect for this iconic shot!
We were able to get a table right away so we could, once again, enjoy some beignets.
We arrived in New Orleans late Saturday afternoon and left Tuesday morning. Unfortunately we were only able to go to the Cafe du Monde three times.
