Hall signed up to run the half marathon in Asheville yesterday. Sara and I decided to go and cheer him on. We had to get up and leave the house by 5:30 a.m. to meet Scott who had Hall’s number and race chip.

After they got started, Sara and I walked around downtown Asheville to take some pictures.
Our first stop for pictures was at the Basilica of St. Lawrence. Unfortunately it was difficult to get any good pictures without power lines.
There were some areas of Asheville that were in the fog. Really cool!
Sara is learning/relearning photography which thrills me to no end. And, she’s asked me to help her learn. I just wish I was a better teacher. Here she is taking some flower photos:
Scott and Hall after the 13.1 mile run. Hall finished #130 out of 1500 with a time of just over 1 hour 42 minutes.
So fun! I love Asheville! …but you won't catch me in any half-marathons any time soon.
