Tommy and I drove over to Briscoe Field yesterday after learning that the Tin Lizzie was going to be there. The Tin Lizzie club takes the plane around to different locations and sells tickets for a 20 minute or so flight. The cost of the flight is $60. No way was I going up in the plane even if it had been free. Tommy wasn’t interested either so we just walked around looking at it. Actually I walked around taking pictures and Tommy talked to some of the club members about the plane. Did you even know that Ford made airplanes? I’m pretty sure that my dad worked for Ford Aircraft at some point.
The first flight that took off was full of “PR” people and was a very short flight. While it was up in the air I walked over to this little beauty:
