For You Blue

Before we left home, we went to see my surgeon to get the results of the latest MRI. Good news! The tumors are stable which means I have to do nothing until my next MRI in a year. YAY!!

He is NOT spoiled! Well, OK, maybe just a little bit. But he makes us laugh. As Tommy says, “Beagles possess a comical nature.”

This picture was taken with Amanda in mind. I know how much she enjoys a good, roaring fire.

Here’s Bubba with his favorite uncle, Cleg. Cleg and Anne came up and spent a couple of days with us. Tommy worked Cleg–cutting, splitting and toting (in a wagon) firewood from about 1/3 mile up the trail. Anne and I spent a day and a half working on her genealogy. We were pretty successful in finding some of her ancestors. Unfortunately, it was not the line she wanted to work on. Such is the way with genealogy.

While we were working on her lines, I checked some of mine that I hadn’t looked at in a while. Bingo! I found some more information that I’d been looking for. Included in that information was this picture of my 2nd great-grandfather, William Willis Waggener, who died in 1900. I’m not seeing any family resemblance. :)

  1. I can't wait until Henry settles down enough to sit with me while I read. He's still got too much puppy in him for that. Happy to hear your good MRI results!
