The hummingbirds at the house in NC are awesome during August! They are quite active in the mornings and the late afternoons. It is so much fun to sit and watch them as they try to eat. I say try to eat as it seems as soon as one settles in to take a drink another dive bombs him/her. They are quite entertaining.
