Savannah – Where I lost my Aunt!

Last Friday my cousin Sue, my Aunt Alline and I headed to Savannah to visit my sister-in-law Chris. We were looking forward to a road trip and decided to get off of I16 south of Macon. Sue drove her truck since she has a cover for the back and the forecast was calling for rain. It did rain some as we were driving through Atlanta but then cleared up. Before we got out of Macon we stopped at the Cracker Barrel for lunch. I think that might have been the second time I’ve eaten there. I know that a lot of people like Cracker Barrel, but I’m just not a fan. We then drove a bit south and got off of I16. While driving south on Hwy. 15/29, we went through Tarrytown. As we did we saw this really cool old Coca Cola sign on the side of an old post office. We had gone on by and Sue decided we really needed to go back to take some pictures.

Here’s the back of this building–also pretty cool looking.

And then we came up to this windmill. None of us had ever seen a windmill with the water tank like this.

We finally arrived at Chris’ house around 4:30 and after a potty break we headed over to see Kim, Joe, Max and Ali. While there, Max had to show me his sunflower:

Isn’t Max the cutest little guy you’ve ever seen? Sue got some love from Ali:

And Max had to get some love from his Nammy–or was it Nammy getting love from Max?
